In 43 games in the UFL. This was the least competitive all season. Which sucks. The overwhelming majority of games were one score affairs. Many coming down to the final play of the game. I'm sure many will make their snide comments about this league and say it doesn't compare to the NFL or high school football but that's doing a disservice to the players and football played all season. There were many fun games and outstanding plays.

UFL lost me on Jan 1st when Seattle was kicked off the league. And because I’m in Italy and there is nowhere to see any games.

If San Antonio had a different name this would have reminded me of the CFL in the 90's when they tried to expand into the states. Birmingham and San Antonio both had teams, the Stallions was the team in Baltimore (now Montreal).

As a Chiefs fan, I dont consider Mecole a bust. Sure, he's not a star and has had some bad plays, but he's always shown up in the playoffs. I'd love to see him unlock his full potential, but he's far from as disappointing as Moore and Toney have been.
